      Verdict

      Amber Heights went close at Lingfield last month and official ratings give her the beating of most of these, including Abadejo. The latter was well beaten at the same track recently when SKETCHY EVIDENCE made his promising debut. John Best's colt finished third on that occasion and normal progress should see him improve past today's modest rivals and open his account. The remainder have shown little to recommend them with Queen Of Heaven making most appeal of the newcomers.
