The stalls are on the stand side, but with such a large field there may not be any advantage. Of the high numbers Pic Up Sticks, who struggles to get his head in front, looks sure to play a prominent role as does the back to form Cubism, who despite a 10lb rise in the weights, is still well treated on old form. Caribbean Coral has been running well, without quite managing to get his head in front and Chris Wall's gelding deserves a change of luck. However, the one to beat from the stand side looks to be Green Line, who drops down in trip having been disappointing over further. He is a half-brother to six-furlong winner Snow Bunting and while he has won over a mile, it could be that he will prove best over sprint trips. James Fanshaw has his string in fine form and his Eyecatcher looks sure to play a prominent role amongst the low numbers, while others to consider from this side include Balakiref, the speedy Toldya, who could well take them along on the near side and Henry Candy's unexposed gelding Nivernais.
