Last month's Wolverhampton winner COPPER CANYON had no luck when trying to follow-up at Lingfield last time. An early stumble lost him lots of ground and he could only manage fourth. He's worth another chance with normal luck in-running and is just preferred to Southern State. The latter makes his handicap debut after going close at Lingfield and first-time blinkers may bring improvement, while recent C&D runner-up Shirataki makes more appeal than Shalambar, who is 10lb higher than his victory here in November.
