In depth

Verdict

FLINTEUR SACRE (NAP) shaped with any amount of promise on debut in what could prove a really hot Newbury bumper and should take all the beating here providing he copes with totally different ground conditions. That should not prove a problem to the full brother to Sprinter Sacre and he rates an enticing prospect. Le Bateau showed more than enough on bumper debut behind Grand Roi at Wincanton to suggest he'll land one of these and Force Ten will come on plenty for his mid-division finish on debut when backed into favouritism at Newbury. The latter could well emerge as the likeliest danger to the selection.
