In depth

Verdict

Strong Paladin has proved to be a model of consistency in the past and is the TEAMtalk pick following a promising reappearance last month. Nick Gaselee's charge landed a Fontwell handicap last term before twice finishing a close runner-up over course and distance and, with conditions to suit, this bold jumper can take advantage of his fitness edge over his main rivals. Spinofski was a progressive type last year and looks capable of further improvement but may need the outing and could struggle to concede weight all round. No More Hassle has claims on the pick of his form but has been well below par on recent evidence but Klondike Charger bounces off a fast surface and is both race-fit and in-form so may reach a place.
