Verdict

Rainbow Rebel has failed to threaten since winning at Hamilton last month while Trading Punches steps up in distance on the back of a second over 1m2f at Newcastle. Argus is versatile as regards the trip having already won over 2m and 1m3f here this year while Native Fighter returns to this venue for the first time since landing a course and distance double. But SIMOON (NAP) is the least exposed and, with this longer trip expected to bring further progress, Ed Walker’s course winner gets the vote having found only one too good on his handicap debut at Newmarket last time.
