        Verdict

        This can go to ROANSTAR. He ended last season with a respectable third over today's trip at Newbury and the runner-up Valid Reason has since boosted the form with a win. Andrew Balding's yard has registered a couple of winners recently including Tweedledrum, who beat runner-up Rasam Aldaar over 1m3f here. The latter is likely to improve for the outing and looks a real threat especially as he had today's rival Gawaarib five-lengths behind in fourth. Major Domo will need to step up on last year's form and bumper runner-up Pearl Mountain is making her belated debut on the Flat.
