Verdict

LILY EDGE stands out in this. She won her maiden over track and trip last month with the minimum of fuss and looks capable of following up on her handicap debut with further progress likely. Diplomatic came up short over 7f here last time having won over course and distance before that and Bowstar can also feature back over today's distance after a below par effort over 7f at this track on Monday. The Mongoose ran a shocker here last time but the presence of Richard Hughes suggests the Lingfield winner will return to something like his best today.
