    Verdict

FRAGONARD ran well on her return from a lay-off when runner-up at York on her handicap debut. She looks the one to beat back in maiden company and can open her account. Saddaqa has some catching up to do on her latest fourth at this track and it would be no surprise if Freedom's Light and Jaladee improve past her with recent debut runs under their belts. Newsreader made a promising start at Bath only to finish tailed off in heavy ground last time while the newcomer Kindu is worth noting as she's a half-sister to St Leger hero Milan amongst others.
