The feature race at Kempton can go to the consistent Wunderwood, with Innovation a potential danger. Lady Herries' four-year-old has already paid to follow this season, scoring back-to-back successes at Lingfield and Nottingham, the latter victory coming after a near five month break. Not disgraced in two subsequent starts over 10 furlongs, the time has come to move him up in trip to offset his lack of a change of gear. He is gutsy though and will benefit from the likely pace set by Hambleden who will plug on to the end despite topweight. Innovation has been brought along steadily, culminating in a confidence boosting victory over just two opponents at Chepstow last time. She benefited from having more use made of her at the Welsh track and will help force the pace as well. That should suit Wunderwood who can keep on galloping from just off the pace to outstay his rivals.
