Verdict

RANSOM defied a penalty to land a double in novice company when scoring over track and trip on his reappearance. There’s plenty more to come from Sir Michael Stoute’s charge now handicapping and he’s preferred to Sky Commander. The latter won a shade cosily at Chelmsford recently but Tiger Crusade returns to action 9lb higher than when winning at Doncaster last summer. Sanaadh can do better back in this lower grade and makes more appeal than Zhui Feng of the remainder.
