Flash of Colour looks the one to be with in this maiden; the list of dangers is headed by Spanish Diva and Hampton Court. The selection put in an improved effort to chase home Maadraa at Lingfield last time and the form of the previous maiden that he ran in has also worked out very well. He looks progressive and he should prove tough to beat. Spanish Diva is the obvious danger and as the Stuart Williams yard are very shrewd, she is certainly one to note in the market. However, she was a beaten favourite at Wolverhampton last time and she is probably better over further than this so she could be one to swerve tonight. Hampton Court showed a modicum of ability last year but he has been off the track since last October and he will need to have improved over the winter if he is to take this on his seasonal return. Andrew Balding's Victoria Montoya catches the eye on breeding and this High Chaparral filly is also worth noting in the ring on her racecourse bow. However, Flash Of Colour sets a fair benchmark and should prove tough to beat.
