      Verdict

      In hindsight, STIRLING BRIDGE looked on a lenient mark when winning his handicap debut by six lengths over C&D last week. A future rise in the handicap is likely to be more than the 6lb extra he carries here and Willie Jarvis' charge gets the nod. Reginald Claude has been running well over 7f recently and should figure along with Dunmore Boy, who bids for a hat-trick after wins at Wolverhampton and most recently Southwell. Rylee Mooch has plenty to find with the selection, however, and was engaged to run at Southwell yesterday.
