Hit The Roof gets the narrow vote in this maiden, with the list of dangers headed by Grand Strategy and Ocean Legend. The selection has had plenty of chances but he wasn't beaten far by Flying Applause at Lingfield last time and we are prepared to give him one final opportunity to lose his maiden tag. Grand Strategy was a little disappointing at Lingfield last time but this extra furlong should suit him and from a good draw he has an obvious chance today. Ocean Legend stepped-up on his debut to finish a fair third behind Copywriter here last time. If he improves again then he is entitled to get competitive. South Wales is from a shrewd yard and he is worth a look in the market on his racecourse debut, but we are prepared to stick with Hit The Roof to come good and he gets our vote.
