Verdict

Roulston Scar disappointed at York last time and debuts on the all-weather. Tawny Port will appreciate the return to this surface having encountered heavy going at Goodwood last time while Soldier's Minute can also go well back on the Polytrack today. A couple of these scored in this grade over track and trip recently including Desert Doctor, who beat Tinto a short-head. But the latter had earlier finished fifth behind OPEN WIDE (NAP) here and Amanda Perrett’s charge should go close again having won off a similar mark last year.
