In depth

Verdict

ENTITLED sets a stiff standard for the remainder and though a drop back to seven furlongs is a surprise, they will struggle to find a weaker maiden than this on paper. Sunset Kitty caught the eye when third to Zip Lock, especially having made a mess of the start. Polly Floyer is eligible for a handicap mark after today and will make significantly more appeal then. South African Gold has not lived up to his $100 000 tag and is now tried in cheekpieces after eight unsuccessful starts. The remainder look to have tough tasks on all known racecourse evidence.
