In depth

Verdict

Ocean Gale won over 1m6f in August but has been beaten subsequently and Mizen Master won over hurdles in the same month. Ivanhoe was still beaten 10 lengths when second over 2m at Chepstow and Paris Bound hasn’t raced since placed over a shorter trip at Southwell in March. But ST ANDREWS found only one too good at Lingfield last week when attempting today’s trip for the first time and Ian Williams’ charge gets the vote with Adam Kirby’s presence a positive.
