CEMHAAN was expected to improve at Newcastle on his return to action and was beaten less than a length. Further progress should see John Gosden’s colt off the mark with Frankie taking over the reins. Note Bleu improves with every run and wasn’t beaten far when fourth over track and trip last time while El Salvaje also finished closer at Chelmsford and is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Storming Jibreel. Both Win Win Power and Affable showed promise on their respective debuts without threatening and are not out of this.
