Verdict

Bison Grass posted a better effort on his return to action over 7f here last week. He can figure off his current mark if this longer trip suits while recent Wolverhampton runner-up Navajo Dream also has something to prove regarding stamina. The lightly-raced Duke Of Dunton is another looking to improve stepping up in distance and although Runaiocht was placed over 1m2f at Lingfield last time, he has yet to win in 23 attempts. But MONSIEUR CHABAL was not beaten far by higher rated horses in a seller over today's trip on his penultimate start and he gets the speculative vote to come out best.
