Verdict

SPARTILLA is making steady progress and, though he's a winner on the Fibresand, is perfectly at home on this surface. James Given's colt can return to winning ways in this modest company as his recent form is superior to that of Meet Joe Black, who was third in a claimer at Wolverhampton last time. The remaining opposition have no worthwhile form to speak of with Notnowstanley possibly the best of them, unless first-time blinkers bring about a big improvement in Skyblue.
