Verdict
Brabazon landed a monster gamble at Lingfield in November and though not able to repeat that success at Wolverhampton five days later he ran well enough to suggest he should get involved here. WESTER ROSS returned from a break to run Perception close over today's C&D in September. He's better known as a hurdler these days but is on an attractive mark on the all-weather so gets the nod. Rosewood Lad is still a maiden after 15 starts but has finished runner-up on six occasions and should be winning soon while the handicapper has been lenient with Bushy Dell, dropping her 8lb after a poor run at Wolverhampton. Her last victory was gained on that track from a 15lb lower mark so her chances are obvious if anywhere near her best.
