Verdict

None of these inspire confidence but LUCAYAN placed over today’s trip at Newcastle last week and first-time cheekpieces may bring about improvement. A tongue-tie is applied to Diamonds At Dusk after finishing third over a longer trip here and she can get involved while Julie Johnston could also go well back over 7f. Ratafia may improve now handicapping for the first time but the remainder harder to recommend.
