Verdict

Sharp Talk created a 25/1 shock on just a fourth career start last time and it will be interesting to see if this lightly-raced sort can back up that success having been punished with a 6lb rise and tackling an additional furlong. A good run is expected but a chance is taken that the consistent IFTON can shed his maiden tag with Robert Havlin a notable booking for the Ruth Carr operation. Course and distance winner Sir Ox has found life tough since the handicapper put him up for a couple of all-weather wins, whilst Indian Sounds bounced back to form the last day for Mark Johnston but Stormbomber has gone well here the last twice and could prove the main threat.
