      Verdict

OLOROSO found only one too good in a higher grade handicap over track and trip on his reappearance in March. Andrew Balding’s charge may prove good enough with Josh Bryan’s allowance in his favour. Merweb is often thereabouts at this level without winning while Carnival Rose scored over a longer trip at Lingfield in January and is 3lb higher today. Venture attempts 7f for the first time having won over 6f while the likes of Gossiping, Suzi's Connoisseur and Shyron have all slid down the weights and could bounce back at any time.
