Just Brilliant made a winning start at Newmarket in 2017 but hasn’t raced since well beaten in last year’s Craven Stakes and it remains to be seen how Kodiac Harbour copes under a penalty for scoring at Lingfield in February. CANVASSED is another penalised having made a winning debut at Newcastle in September but he beat a couple of subsequent winners by a wide margin and is fancied to go close with Roger Varian’s yard among the winners recently. Ocala has placed in all three outings so far and makes more appeal on her reappearance than I Can and Captain Scott with the latter dropping down in trip.
