Verdict

Black Truffle should be thereabouts having scored at Lingfield last month when ACTONETAKETWO was beaten a length in third. The latter has franked the form with a victory at Wolverhampton and can take his revenge on better terms with Philip Prince's allowance taken into account. Idle Curiosity posted a better effort on her return and has plenty of scope along with the handicap debutants Ropehanger, Fiducia and La Luz Del Sol. It would be no surprise if one of the aforementioned improved past the more exposed types such as Our Golden Girl and Boleyn.
