Starshiba is progressing nicely but comes here with a penalty for her victory over 7f here last week and takes on better company. VIA SERENDIPITY landed a similar-class handicap over the course and distance in October 2019 and also scored at Ascot during last summer. He's just 1lb higher than that course victory and was only beaten a length in a Listed event on the track in November. Sanaadh has won around here though his victories have been over shorter trips while Almodóvar, who was once rated 113, has looked outclassed in Listed company since returning from a very long break. Born To Be Alive has been running well at this level though his only victory to date came in 2017 but Mission Boy, a Group 2 winner in Italy, made an encouraging debut for Marco Botti at Lingfield
