IVORY SILK is preferred to Fathsta and Cecily in an open contest. The draw is a major negative for the selection but she comes into this race on the back of a couple of decent runs at Wolverhampton over the minimum and looks ready to strike. She's likely to need a little luck in running but should make the frame at worst. Fathsta isn't too badly treated on the best of his form and has a decent draw to work with. He's a winner at the track and a big run looks to be on the cards. The handicapper appears to know where he is with Cecily but she's run well on both starts since returning from a break and should do so again. The well handicapped Pearly Wey may be best watched on debut for a new yard and Daddy's Gift could cause more problems on this occasion as she's well drawn and has a good record at the track. A return to this venue could also bring about a better showing from Little Pete whilst Harlech Castle ran with a little more promise last time but preference is for Ivory Silk.
