Serramanna is preferred to Jeepstar, Inch Lodge and Top Spec in an open-looking finale. There are indeed many in with chances here, but Serramanna has shown signs of a return to winning form lately, finishing runner-up at both Lingfield and here last month. She could really do with a little help from the handicapper, but with Adam Kirby on board for the first time, hopes are high that she can fine the extra required. Jeepstar should be noted in the market as he returns from a mini-break to make his all-weather bow, while Inch Lodge is in form but goes better at Wolverhampton. Top Spec has to give weight away all round but this useful Turf performer should not be left out of calculations. Prime Contender and Resonate are just two more that can make their presence felt as well, and in what is probably the best race on the card, we shall stay loyal to Serramanna.
