Verdict

Edith Rigby drops back down in distance having only managed fifth at Newcastle last month. She’s still preferred to the likes of Eastern Charm and Ballykessangel of those with experience. But Charlie Appleby’s yard remains in fine form and VIA CORONE could go close on her debut as she’s a half-sister to useful stablemate Blue Trail. Regal Fanfare is a sister to her stable companion and Group 3 winner Regal Reality and is preferred to Impulsive Lady.
