Captain Kendall was 13lb higher a year ago but hasn't shown much lately. Ghost Train has a poor strike-rate but is rarely beaten far from this sort of mark and is on the shortlist. Four Cheers has been showing pace over further and Kieren Fallon takes the ride for his handicap debut while Divine Call is on exactly the same mark as when last successful on this track in January. VARSOVIAN (NAP) was having only his sixth start and tackling this trip for the first time when winning comfortably here last week. There looks plenty more to come and a 6lb penalty is unlikely to prevent a quick follow-up. Reaffirmed took very well to Wolverhampton's Tapeta and a 4lb rise for what looked an impressive victory suggests he can get involved in the finish here.
