In depth

Verdict

Dama'a gets the confident vote in this maiden with Cabriole and White Ladder rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fifth in a better race behind Stepping Stones last time and with the return to this shorter trip he looks the one to be on in what is an easier race. Cabriole rates the main danger on her best form but she was well beaten in a fillies handicap last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. White Ladder is another that could go well as he showed plenty of ability last season but may just need the run after a 434-day absence. Of the remainder, Kenita was a fair fourth behind Balik Pearls last time and is another with place claims but he has had plenty of chances and for the winner we return to Dama'a whose stable are in top form.
