The recent winners of this race have been worth following with the Haggas filly Queen Of Ice subsequently winning in Listed company and last year's winner Very Special going on to Group 2 success for Saeed Bin Suroor. Both the above trainers have runners today with Tutu Nguru having the advantage of a recent run when second in a Listed race at Lingfield. Godolphin's Quality Time won a maiden at Chelmsford in November while Zest landed her maiden at Doncaster but an entry in the One Thousand Guineas at Newmarket suggests big things are expected of her this year. Nevertheless, MARENKO has the strongest form in the book with a second in the Group 2 May Hill at Doncaster in October her best effort and the Hannon filly also has the edge on today's rivals at the weights.
