Fortrose Academy just held off Lastkingofscotland here a month ago but the runner-up was unlucky and made amends with a smooth success over an extra furlong at Wolverhampton. The pair should be involved again while Alnoomaas won twice here in September and hasn't done so well at other tracks subsequently. Gung Ho Jack scored twice at Wolverhampton but was behind Lastkingofscotland at Lingfield last time and Belle Bayardo has been hit with a 5lb rise for landing a minor handicap at Wolverhampton. GABBIANO has more scope than any of these and won a maiden over the C&D just over a year ago. He was unlucky in-running here twice in the summer and a chance is taken that he's fit enough to do himself justice after his break.
