In depth

Verdict

Fastella can prove too strong for her rivals here and she is taken to get the better of Hurricane Hen and Orange Square. The selection showed promise on her debut and she built on that when only a neck second behind Wavertree Princess at Lingfield last time. She makes plenty of appeal here and she should prove tough to beat. Hurricane Hen would have claims on his best form but he has been a bit hit and miss so far and he will need to put his best foot forward today if he is to trouble the judge. Orange Square has got ability but he has shaped as though he will be seen to better effect over a slightly longer trip and for that reason he is taken on. The market may provide the clues with regards to the newcomers, but there should be plenty more to come from Fastella who stands out as the one to beat.
