    Verdict

    Recent winners Malice Or Mischief and May's Boy may struggle stepping up in class but the consistent Dozy Joe can figure. Beaten only a length despite the unfavourable terms in a conditions race at Lingfield last time, he looks sure to be thereabouts again but may find MUNTASIB too good. Not disgraced in a couple of starts on turf in August, Marcus Tregoning's charge had improved enough to win a maiden at Lingfield six weeks later and can follow-up here on his handicap bow with Richard Hills in the saddle.
