        Verdict

        This looks more competitive than the previous division and Pompey Chimes finished a couple of lengths ahead of Ipcress File when runner-up at Brighton in September. Sky Rocket also showed progress to place at Chelmsford on his latest outing but TE KOOP gets the nod. The latter found only one too good over today’s trip at Newcastle on his debut and should make a bold bid. The 26,000gns Bated Breath colt Waiting Room is the only newcomer on show and worth a second glance.
