Verdict

Prince Of Arran finished ahead of 2015 winner Noble Gift when winning over 1m4f here in November but has another hike in the weights to contend with today. Final is holding his form well but was second to last year’s runner-up Dutch Uncle at Wolverhampton in February. The former’s stablemate Sennockian Star has also been in decent form but has a bit to find on latest running with GAWDAWPALIN. The latter was second in this grade at Lingfield last week on his first start since November and should make another bold bid. Wild Hacked was progressive last year but General Hazard is upped in class bidding for a hat-trick and Big Country only won a maiden race at Wolverhampton last time albeit by seven lengths.
