In depth

Verdict

Mercers has battled on to land two Class 6 handicaps under today's rider and this looks tougher off 4lb higher. Very Honest won off 80 at Goodwood in 2016 and has gradually been dropping to a mark she should be winning from soon. Reedanjas was lit-up by a first-time visor at Chelmsford where she made all and a 4lb rise looks fair so she should make a bold bid. PULSATING, who was conceding 9lb, never got close enough to mount a challenge but is better on this track and ran a fine race here on Saturday so gets the nod. Little Miss Kodi has had 17 starts over 7f since making her debut over this trip though she was leading inside the final furlong at Lingfield last week.
