    Verdict

The official figures for the race make Mindanao the one to beat and she will not go down without a fight if Tony Dobbin can keep her focused on the task in hand. She is still relatively lightly raced over hurdles and will have been buoyed by her victory at Hexham last month. However, Mill Emerald does not have too much to find with Len Lungo's charge as she may still have been in need of the run when they last met. Mary Reveley's runners have enjoyed a return to form in the last couple of weeks and the 6-year-old mare is taken as the value selection in a moderate heat to round off the card. Plenty Courage goes well around here and is one to consider for an adventurous forecast slot.
