ROMANY RYME is clearly no world-beater but was only headed approaching the last in a maiden hurdle at Hexham earlier this month and could be capable of getting off the mark in an ordinary handicap. Mr Utah landed the odds in a four-runner race at Sedgefield last time and still has a bit of scope while Dickie Henderhoop should be thereabouts again despite still creeping up the weights. Bescot Springs is better known as a chaser, however, and the remainder are a modest bunch though Jack Albert did win a novices' handicap at Musselburgh recently off an 8lb lower mark.
Mr Utah 4-7fav (10-9) Made all, ridden before last, kept on, won at Sedgefield 2m 5f mdn hdl (5) gs beating Magic Present (11-0) by 2l, 4 ran.
