Quel Elite may just have needed the run when runner-up to Dark Glacier over this trip at Wetherby earlier this month. He looks sure to be in the firing-line here but may have to settle for a place again behind NODFORM RICHARD. The latter will make a nice chaser in time but didn't do a lot wrong when third at Hereford last time and the runner-up has franked the form of that race recently. Winning pointer Brindisi Breeze was only beaten a head in a bumper at Musselburgh on his debut under Rules and will appreciate the extra distance here. He could be best of the rest.
