Verdict

The last two winners are back for more. Beggar's Velvet won this in 2014 and was ahead of last year’s winner CAVE HUNTER when second here last month. But the latter is taken to reverse running on slightly better terms today and also confirm form with last year’s runner-up Nowurhurlin. Full Jack has every chance having won at Carlisle before finishing fourth in one of these events at Cheltenham while Damiens Dilemma and Molten Brown have gone close recently but have a bit to find on these terms. Dun Faw Good has won four races between the flags including an easy success on the points track at Hexham a fortnight ago.
