Emperor Ross,Coole Abbey and Backsheesh are three against the field in this hunter chase and the nomination is given to Emperor Ross. The selection has conditions to suit and would have been a lot closer at Newbury last time when fourth behind Red Brook Lad had his rider not left him with to much to do. In the hope that he is ridden closer to the pace here he looks the one to be on. Coole Abbey rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Katarino in a better race but all his best form is on a softer surface and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Backsheesh hails from a yard in form and has been in good form in points of late, he is unexposed in this sphere and should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Lord O'All Seasons is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is only one paced and he may not have the toe close home to land a blow and for the winner we return to Emperor Ross.
