A winner at Market Rasen last month, Paris Protocol is 10lb higher today while The Herds Garden has been raised 8lb after scoring over a longer trip here. Both are upped in class today but THINK AHEAD (NAP) won a conditionals’ race in this grade at Cartmel last time. Charlotte Jones was unable to claim her 7lb allowance on that occasion but she can today and James Moffatt’s charge looks to have every chance of going in again. Novice hurdle winner Dieu Benisse was well beaten here on her handicap debut and it remains to be seen if Gennady can do any better now handicapping for the first time. Sarvi has placed over timber off higher marks in the past and Christmas In Usa finished runner-up at Newcastle back in March.
