CARLTON RYAN was flattered by his proximity to Wonderful Charm at Musselburgh last month but went one better at Fakenham, despite not been suited by the sharp track. This stiffer course will be more to his liking and he can give weight to Wicklow Lad, Mister Marker and Green Flag. That trio were third, fourth and fifth behind Premier Portrait here last month, though all were well beaten. Miss Biscotti appears to favour good ground and has been off the track since June last year.
