Winning pointer Just Georgie was second in a Cork bumper in the spring on his debut under Rules. Sue Smith should find a race over hurdles for him before long if not today. Big River won a Kelso bumper in March and should also make a hurdler while Smuggler's Stash is another winning pointer. Rose Dobbin also runs Mister Don but he didn't show much on his hurdles bow at Hexham. Towerburn was second at Hexham in May but VALNAMIXE DU MEE's run behind Gingli at Carlisle in April looks stronger form so he gets a tentative vote.
