Newdane Dancer is 3lb higher than when beaten at Catterick last time but has been in good form again lately and can't be ruled out. Too Cool To Fool has been alternating between hurdles and fences recently but was last of three over the larger obstacles last time while Markem's hat-trick bid at Wetherby came unstuck in spectacular style and he looks too high in the weights now. Our Boy Ben has struggled since winning at Hexham in November and Father Time may have caught up with Knight Valliant and Benmadigan, though both are nicely handicapped. NORTHERN OSCAR was pulled up on heavy going at Newcastle in January but his runs either side of that setback were decent and he must have some sort of chance in this.
