Verdict

Yes No Maybe So didn't have much to do to beat three rivals at Musselburgh and has to concede weight all round. Fostered Phil went for £20,000 at the sales after finishing runner-up in a Clonmel bumper in October but the winner and third have been well beaten subsequently. MAM TRASNA had little chance against two high-class bumpers at Punchestown and will be unfortunate to come up against anything as good here so gets the vote. Fellow traveller Tapenade didn't quite get the run of the race at Fairyhouse ten days ago and the fact he's out again so quickly and Sean Bowen has been booked suggests much better is expected. Glenduff cost E90,000 and is the second foal of a mare who produced the smart Relegate with her first so he's one to note.
