Silken Pearls, a good winner of a bumper at Doncaster on soft ground when defeating Peggy Sioux is the TEAMtalk selection to open her account at the first time of asking over hurdles. The filly by Leading Counsel is from a yard in fair form, is one of the least exposed in the field and is sure to appreciate this stamina test. Minster Fair rates the main danger. He has also shown a modicum of ability in bumpers and his fourth behind Hey Ref last time out at Carlisle does not read badly in the context of this race. Tullimoss has the most experience over hurdles and he was not beaten too far last time out in a handicap over this course and distance. This looks easier but he appears to have less improvement in him than Silken Pearl. Ms Trude was seventh in a listed bumper at Cheltenham on her last run behind Blue Dante that is fair form and if this filly from Tony Carroll's yard takes to hurdles she must also be considered. Tina Cooke needs to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
